A Certificate of Competence in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014 is required for handling sulphur hexafluoride (SF₆) in the European Union. DILO offers the recognised training with subsequent certification examination in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2066. Participants acquire the legally required qualification to carry out work on high-voltage switchgear containing SF₆ in a safe, environmentally friendly and compliant manner.

The training combines theoretical basics with practical exercises on original DILO equipment. It is aimed at service technicians, switchgear operators and specialised personnel from the energy and industrial sectors. The certification is valid throughout Europe and is carried out by DILO in cooperation with an independent certification body.
Training duration
The training for the SF₆ Certificate of Competence lasts two days and is based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2015/2066. On the first day, theoretical basics are taught, followed by practical exercises and the exam on the second day. The training starts at 08:00 and ends at around 16:00.

- Hands-on groups with up to 8 participants
Training location
The training takes place at the DILO Training Centre in Babenhausen. There are modern, fully equipped training facilities available, including original SF₆ service carts and measuring devices. From theory to practice – instantly applicable.
