Delivered with a transport fill of N₂ (nitrogen) and without a label. The pressurised gas cylinder does not have a protective cap. After filling, the operator must affix a label to the cylinder in accordance with ADR.
This depends on the gas type and quality. For further information, see F-Gas 2024/573.
Caution regarding SF6: If the gas quality cannot be determined or if the SF6 gas contains decomposition products (≥250 ppmv SO2), cylinders with a yellow shoulder and hazard labels 2.3 + 8 must be used for road transport.
Periodic inspection:
Periodic inspections in accordance with ADR must be carried out every 10 years on pressure vessels used for the transport of gases with classification code 2A. The user of the cylinders is responsible for this. Country-specific regulations must be observed. DILO will be happy to assist you with ADR inspections.
