For evacuation of air or nitrogen

The mobile vacuum pump unit is convincing by its easy handling. The unit serves for evacuation of air or nitrogen from gas compartments. The 40 m³/h vacuum pump (standard version) enables a final vacuum of < 1 mbar. Thus it is guaranteed that no air/gas mixture can be generated and the excellent insulation properties of SF₆ are maintained. The 2-stage vacuum pump (available as option) even reaches a final vacuum of 0.0067 mbar. This version is equipped with a solenoid valve. This prevents operating errors, as the valve closes automatically when there is power cut-off or when the function ends. Thus ensuring that no oil from the vacuum pump can get into the gas compartment in case of operating errors. The unit is available in different performance classes (see optional equipment), so that all requirements can be easily met.

The vacuum pump unit is equipped with a flange coupling groove part M45x2 (DN20 thread for SF6 gas applications) as a standard feature and can be equipped with flange coupling groove parts for C4-FN (M48x2), C5-FK (M43x2) and CA (M50x2) which are available as an option in order to avoid confusion.
